Busy Day

Today has been one of those busy days when I feel like I have done a lot but accomplished nothing. Tomorrow I have a little guest coming for the weekend and I think I am all ready for her visit. The only down side of the weekend is there is a forecast of rain nearly every day through Sunday :-( Bummer because that little girl likes to go outdoors and play!!! Since I haven't accomplished a lot, there's not much scrapping to show for it, but here goes. . .

Magnificant Monday

Today is a great day - my EHD's data has been recovered as of the 5th of March so all I need to do now is to start working through my list of things that I have added since then. That is not a very big list, but it just takes time. Plus, I am working through a new workflow so maybe I won't be quite as dependent on that hard drive :-)

Since the recovery process has ended, I can now open Photoshop. So, here are a couple of new pages. . .

And, with that I'm outta here to go catch up things that I missed during the EHD outage. Until next time. . .

Finally Friday

My goodness, this has been a ROUGH week!!! And, it primarily centered around my beloved computer. On Wednesday, the EHD that I use for backing up my stash threw a message that it was about to fail. No problem, I have this under control. I started running a scan to see what was wrong. Decided to let that run all night. Got up the next morning and decided to work on a page I has started the day before. . .the EHD with my stash on it is having a FIT!!! Here it is Friday, I think I have my backup drive back in working order. I am going to try one more thing with the non-functioning EHD and I think I am going to pick up a new EHD at the store since they are on sale this week. Been contemplating getting a new drive anyway, this is just the kick I need to get that done.

Anyway, with all that, I haven't really gotten much done and all of this was before the drama started so here goes. . .

Welcomed Wednesday

So far, today has been much better than the previous two days. . .somehow I came down with some sort of flu-bug that has had me down since Saturday maybe. The last two days have been miserable and I actually think I slept the majority of the day on Monday which just is NOT my style!!! I rarely sleep past 5 am!!! Anyway, today I feel a bit better and actually had a cup of coffee this morning. But at this point, one cup of coffee is it for me!!!

I have been scrapping off and on as I feel up to it. Seriously, I'm not used to scrapping sporadically, I am much more the sit down, start and finish a project. It is just too hard for me to get back "into" whatever frame of mind I was in when I started something. Anyway, here are my flu-driven pages - LOL!!!

Relaxing Saturday

I am hoping today turns out to be a relaxing day. Hope to continue reading a book, do a bit of scrapping for challenges and watch some TV. We are going to go out to eat tonight and since the time has changed, we can go to a local pasta place. During the winter months, it is a little scary to drive downtown in the dark, but it is lighter longer, and if we go early enough, parking won't be an issue!!!

Yesterday was a super busy day so I didn't get a lot accomplished, but here goes. If you like lace the way I do, Snickerdoodle Designs' Irish Lace line is perfect!!!

And, with that, I'm outta here to go enjoy a tasty breakfast with that second cup of coffee!!! Until next time. . .

What Happened Wednesday

Sure enough, after a gorgeous 70-degree day yesterday we woke up to snow around here this morning. And, it has been snowing off and on all day!!! It just looks so depressing outside. . .grey and gloomy. That beautiful day yesterday was wonderful, and a tease of things to come I'm sure. With all the snow outside, I managed to make a couple of pages as I sit here trying to stay warm. . .

Topsy Turvy Tuesday

Oh my word, it is 70-degrees outside at the moment. . .and we are under a winter weather advisory for tonight!!! Say it ain't so!!! You have to be kidding me. . .2-4 inches of snow tonight??? Give me a break!!! This can't possibly be good for my health!!! I can already feel the spring cold that will be coming on around Friday just in time for the weekend!!!

I have been busy scrapping and enjoying the open windows today so here goes. . .first up is a sweet little page for St. Patty's Day

Marvelous Monday

It is official - it is warm outside!!! I have actually opened one of the windows in the sunroom and later will go out and enjoy the fresh air while dinner is baking away in the oven!!! Hard to believe it is going to be even WARMER tomorrow. . .but, wait for it. . .there is snow in the forecast for tomorrow night!!! They have always said if you don't like the weather, wait a few hours and it will surely change!!!

And, with the time change, I somehow feel I have more TIME in a day to get things done!!! And, I have to say I'm loving sunlight longer in the evenings, but it is really hard to get up in the morning when it is still dark. But that too will change shortly!!!

With the extra time in the day, I have managed a couple of pages, so here goes.

First up.

Filled Friday and Wonderful Weekend

Do you ever have one of those days that you just absolutely dread? Today is one of those days for me. There is just too much chaos going on in my life today. My philosophy at this point is to just take one thing at a time, address that and move on. Yesterday was a day that came totally out of left field for me. I was moving through my chore list, knocking out task after task when the phone rings and my daughter was distraught and needed a favor. I was happy to help since it was nice and sunshiny outside, but I have to tell you it took a lot of coordination and a lot of miles on my van!!! I was exhausted when I got home, but I was able to finish virtually everything on my to-do list for the day!!! Go Me!!!

So here I sit, early on a Friday morning, getting ready to help my dh through the day. Hoping that all goes well and that the rest of the day is smooth sailing. We'll see. . . .

In the meantime, I haven't actually gotten a lot of scrapping done, but I have managed to do a couple of things.

Gosh, I created more pages than I thought!!! Scrap Therapy!!! And, with that I am outta here to start working on a couple of challenges. I am deciding to branch out a bit this month - the Progressive Scrap starts today at theStudio, and then I'm going to try to get more involved at a couple of new sites!!! We'll see how it goes!!! Until next time. . .
