Mother's Day Weekend!!!

Yeah, this is Mother's Day Weekend!!! It would be awesome if I didn't still have this "creepin' crud"!!! If I could just go 1 hour without having a coughing fit it would be so nice!!! This is the second bout of this stuff that I've had this year. . .usually I only get one!!! At this point, I think I'm done with the preparations for Mother's Day. My girls will be home with their families, my husband is going to go to his Mother's house. And as for me, I'm going to be home. . .I'm planning on having Chinese food and watching sports or a movie!!! And while that may seem dismal to others, it sounds like heaven to me!!! My girls should spend time with their kiddos. . .I know how strapped I was for time during those years and the best gift anyone ever gave me was simply time. Do I have regrets - yes, I regret that once I got married, I never got to spend a single Mother's Day with my Mom. . .what I wouldn't give at this point to change that, but it was somehow always more important to spend time with my MIL than my Mom.

Anyway, after the festivities of last weekend, I have spent a little time between coughs scrapping so here goes. . .

Scrapping Saturday & Sunday!!!

Well, in my life, this has typically been the busiest weekend around!!! Here's what's going on in my neck of the woods. . .Spring Ballet for a granddaughter, Dance Recital for that same granddaughter, wedding anniversary for one daughter, birthday for another granddaughter. . .not to mention Cinco de Mayo and of course iNDS!!! I have so much going on that my head is spinning around!!! I have so much to do and have company coming in so I've been on a cleaning frenzy, trying to get things done for the weekend has kept me busy this week. . .and my reward after all is said and done - digi shopping!!! So lets get this party started!!!

May Day!!!

I can hardly believe it is May already!!! This year just seems to be flying by so fast!!! Finally overnight it seems like everything has turned green. . .probably because of the heavy rain that we have had for a couple of days now!!! But I am optimistic that the snow is behind us!!!

Awesome April

Today looks to be a perfect day. . .sunny and warm (not hot)!!! Having said that, I have a super busy day!!! Have to cook before driving to my MIL's house for Easter tomorrow. Spring Storms

It must be spring!!! It was close to 80-degrees here yesterday, tomorrow we are supposed to have severe storms and then the temperatures are going to drop. . .it must be springtime in the Midwest!!! Then add to that I have been enjoying having the windows open and at the moment I am having a sneezing fit!!! I probably should close the windows, but I do enjoy the fresh air and the birds chirping so I'll just leave them open!!!

I have been scrapping a little this week between other things I've been working on so here goes. . .

April Already???

Gosh, it is hard to believe it is April 1st!!! This year seems to be just flying by!!! Maybe it is because the weather here has been so topsy-turvy this winter!!! We actually drove through some snow on Saturday and by the time we got home, we had had nearly 2 inches of rain while we were gone!!!
