May 2026 - Week 03

May is moving right along and it is such a busy time!!! Today our oldest granddaughter graduated from high school. It seems like it was just yesterday that she was sitting on the living room floor playing with Barbies or reading a book. . .she is a voracious reader still, but the Barbies have fallen by the wayside. On Monday our grandson and youngest grand "graduates" from middle school. . .when I was a kid, it was called commencement because it was just the start of a new phase of life I guess :-) When we had my ceremony, Dad was the president of the school board so he actually gave me my grade school diploma. . .wish I had a photo of that, but I only have 5 photos from my childhood. . .no idea where everything else went over time. . .Anyway, here's what I've managed to do this week. . .not much because this week has had its challenges, but here goes Created using Created using And that's a wrap for me. . .off to wrap those graduation gifts now. . .Until next time. . .

May 2026 - Week 01

Well, it is the beginning of May!!! Sure hope there are fewer tornados this month!!! Been a wild ride here this year I think already we have had more tornados in the state than the yearly average!!! Terrifying to think there is a LOT more of the year left!!! Anyway, it is a new month and I have things to share. . . April 2026 - Week 04

Prehaps as you can see I skipped a week!!! That seldom happens, but it has been a busy time and it is only going to get busier I'm afraid. Friday was a tense day in these parts. . .so many tornados around. Thankfully our daughter and her family were spared. One of the super cells was headed their way but just as it got to the neighboring town it split and skipped them. The main town where they go for everything had not one, not two but three tornados that day!!! They had been asked to move a piano lesson to that day and they had thankfully declined else they would have had a terrible time getting home!!! The main road they used looked like a war zone the next day!!! Anyway, I do have a few things to share so here goes. . . Well, April is here already!!! This year is just flying by!!! The next couple of months are filled with all sorts of fun stuff from confirmations, to dance recitals to graduations!!! At this rate, I'm sure by the time August rolls around I'll be ready for a nap LOL!!! To kick off a new month I have a couple of fun things to share. . .
