February 2026 - Week 02

Well, the Super Bowl is behind us. . .I have to admit I was underwhelmede. I didn't know anything about either team, while I wasn't opposed to the half-time show, I figure it wasn't geared to my demographic. I usually like the commercials, but admitedly I fell asleep so maybe I missed the really good ones? It also didn't help that I was sick most of the weekend either. On a brighter side, there's as a week of excitement for this NASCAR fan. . .I live for races at the superspeedways so Daytona is definitely on my radar. The Duels are mid-week and I love those short races where everything is on the line for the 500 starting lineup. And the drivers try to keep their car in pristine shape for the big race on Sunday. . .so much strategy in those short little races and that's what makes them super fun in my opinion. February 2026 - Week 01

February is here. . .let's hope we don't have the weather swings we had in January!!! And it would be nice if we were maybe done with snow this year??? Granted, we sorely need the moisture and snow is definitely better than ice, so I guess I should just quit complaining right? Anyway, I'm here to kickoff the month with some new layouts. . . Well, this week we are in the depth of winter!!! Schools have canceled because of the bitter cold and we have a few inches of snow. . .the month of January has really been a weather roller-coaster in these parts!!! January 2026 - Week 02

It's hard to believe that it is January weather-wise. I am constantly adjusting the thermostat from heating to turning it off. Last night when I went to bed it was 60-degrees and that was AFTER the storm had gone through. When I got up this morning it was already 47-degrees. Entirely too warm for this time of year.
