August 2026 - Week 03

Well, week 3 of August involved another massive weather event. . .in the town where I lived some kind of freaky wind hit and the destruction is massive. It was move-in day at one of the 2 universities. Imagine moving in, power goes out, dorm floods, windows blow out, limited food available. . .all on day 1!!! The roof blew off a section of the hospital, a bus was flipped and power lines and huge trees are down everywhere!!! Crazy weather!!! This week was full of a couple of first too. . .our oldest granddaughter moved into university today, her brother had soccer tryouts this week and made the freshman team, and as of tomorrow, our middle granddaughter will have a car!!! This grands just keep growing!!! Then add to the mix not feeling well. . .this has been a trying week with the bathroom remodel and ne not feeling all that great. There have been a couple of times that I've almost asked my husband to just drop me off at the hospital. . . Enough of that. I was able to whip out a single scrapbook page this week so here goes. . .
