July - Week 03

My goodness, it feels like autumn here today!!! After all the heat and storms we have had it is a glorious day!!! Also adding to that feeling are all of the back-to-school supplies that quickly replaced the 4th of July merchandise!!! That certainly happened overnight!!! July - Week 02

All of the festivities of the 4th of July are behind us now. Thankfully the weather cooperated here, but it was touch and go for a while!!! The local celebration was a success. . .the concession stand that my husband sets up for the church group virtually sold out of everything so that's a good thing. He spends so much time planning, getting food, setting up and putting away stuff that I am always happen when it is over and it has been a success!!! It is hard to grasp that right after the 4th the local WalMart started putting out school supplies - YIKES!!! We have a lot of rain in the forecast for the next several days. . .lets see if it actually happens. All the talk this summer is about the "drought monitor". . .according to that we have a moderate drought going on so the rain will be much appreciated if it happens. In light of the heat and weather, I've managed to do some scrapping so here goes. . . July - Week 01

Well, here we are entering the second half of the year!!! Goodness I have no idea where the time goes. This will be a busy week with all of the 4th of July festivities. . .locally we have a celebration on the 3rd of July where my husband is in charge of a concession stand so leading up to the 4th that takes up a lot of time. Then hopefully one daughter and her family will be able to come for that. My days of watching fireworks are pretty much over. I just can't walk on the rocky terrain leading to the seating area, that would be a disaster just waiting to happen. So, I'll spend that time here with the cat and maybe find something to binge watch :-) I'ave had some time to do some scrapping and with it being the first week of the month there is a lot happening in the digi-world so here goes. . .
