August - Week 04

Goodness, it has been a hot one here this week!!! The temperature was supposed to break during the night, but that didn't happen so now our Excessive Heat Warning lasts through today. . .I don't mind the heat, it is the humidity that is making me sweat and I'm so opposed to sweat - LOL!!! Since I've been indoors more, I've done a bit of scrapping and have actually wrapped up a couple of projects so YEAH!!! Here are the new layouts for the week. . . August - Week 2

Oh my goodness, I had an epiphany this morning. . .the orchards are open!!! I have no idea where my mind has been. . .for some reason I thought the orchards opened in June, but around here they just opened in the last couple of weeks. And, with that, it is a short season!!! I better be planning a trip this week if I expect to get peach fritters and apple cider donuts for my autumn fix. If I wait, there won't be any peach fritters!!! I have no idea where this summer has gone. . .school starts here next week!!! YIKES!!! Oh, and I've been doing a little bit of scrapping so here goes. . . August - Week 1

The calendar just keeps on rolling by!!! It is hard to believe that school starts here in just a little over 2 weeks!!! I'm not sure where the summer went, but it has flown by. The good news - I finished one of the scrapbooks that was intended to be gifted last year!!! Now there's one more to go :-) It has been super hot here and I'm starting to feel just a tad better so I've been trying to catch up on stuff so here goes. . .
