Endings and Beginnings

It is that time of year when there are endings and beginnings. Our oldest granddaughter is leaving middle school and headed to high school next year. She has had so many "firsts" this month. . .the first school dance for 8th graders, her first graduation among other things. She is also experiencing some "last" events too. Her last project in the gifted program that has been apart of her life for so many years, her last class trip, her last trip through the middle school doors. This is such an exciting as well as intimidating time for her. I remember all too well greeting her as she came home from the hospital after being born, I remember the endless hours of watching her swing on the playground equipment. . .that girl LOVED swings. Not sure where the years went, but that sweet little girl is now a grown teenager!!! With everything going on, I did manage to do a little scrapping so here goes. . . Welcomed Weather!!!

After a couple of super hot days. . .temperatures in the 90's is just wrong for this point in May. . .today is gorgeous!!! I finally got to sleep with the windows opened and got to wake up to the birds singing!!! It is a glorious day for sure!!! I've been busy this week doing odds and ends but did manage to do a little bit of scrapping so here goes. . . Late To The Party

Here it is iNSD weekend and I'm just joining the party!!! YIKES!!! In all honesty though I've spent the last few days setting up my new computer. My old one was having numerous blue screens, freezing, spontaneously powering down. And, if this weren't enough, it sounded like a jet engine from time to time. I was afraid that I'd wake up one day and it would not, so I carefully planned my migration, ordered a computer and started setting it up. My biggest hiccup was connecting my 13-year-old secondary monitor. It just NEVER occurred to me that the connections would be different and that the necessary cable would be so difficult to find!!! Yesterday Amazon came through and I got my cable and setting up the rest of my "stuff" was easy peasy at that point!!! So here I am, late to the iNSD party!!! Today, I'm going to get things posted and then I'm going to digi-shop to take advantage of sales. And, if that weren't enough, I have lofty plans of cleaning my craft room!!! My dh is going to his Mom's today and when I'm home alone and left to my own devices, I seem to accomplish a LOT of stuff!!! So, without further ado here are my layouts to share. . .
