Well, we are just moving through May!!! Been kind of busy here. . .some planned and some not planned. On the "planned" front was a trip to visit our daughter and to go to our grandson's soccer game and baseball game. Plans scrambled a bit. . .went to his Kindergarten celebration, sat in the rain at his soccer game, and the baseball game was cancelled because of rain!!! On the unplanned front was a modem and router that bit the dust. Now I'm pretty handy when it comes to technology. . .I am the one designated to take care of all things electronic here even though my husband is an IT Manager at a very large company!!! BUT while I can set up home networks, that is about my least favorite thing to do!!! For some reason I struggle with it and this time was no different. It literally took me 2 days and then I had one of those "a-ha" moments, started all over and it worked like a charm. I have NO idea what I did the first time through. . .but I do know I was super tired from travelling and I really wasn't feeling well either. Once I finally sucked it up and decided I needed to have a Dr Pepper first, disconnect everything, did factory resets and then it worked just fine. Now I know why I have been dropping internet with an increasing frequency on not just my desktop, but all connected devices. I was blaming it on the devices and the ISP, but in hindsight I'm pretty sure it was the network itself buggin' out on occasion!!! Anyway, network is set up, some peripherals have been added to the network, but I still have the TVs and the gaming consoles to do. . .and I plan on getting that done yet today :-)
And through all of that, I have managed to scrap a bit. . .will probably be scrapping more since it is going to be a scorcher here for the next week or so!!! So sit back - here goes!!!

I had a super busy weekend and didn't get to play as much as I would have liked.

What Happened To Those May Flowers???
I have a rose bush that has bloomed faithfully every year that we have lived here. . .that would be over 40 years. This year, nothing!!! I think it is because the last couple of days of April we had a hard freeze which is something we have never had. . .The inside part of the bush seems to still be alive, the in years past, it has bloomed and this year there are no leaves on it. This is really messing with me. It goes from super cold with snow the last few days of April to temps over 90 now. . .crazy weather for sure!!!
When it is this hot I don't handle the heat well at all, so I spend time in the sunroom reading and doing puzzles or I spend time at my desk scrapping. . .so here goes on the scrapping part for the week. . .
