I spent yesterday making several freezer meals. . .and a yummy casserole with a recipe from my daughter. Have to say I have a few things in the freezer ready to go. So, those days will feel like a vacation day. . .any day that I don't have to cook is a vacation day in my mind :-) I stayed off the computer for most of the day yesterday so I'm a little late with this work, but here goes. . .

Stolen Sunday
Somehow that term "Stolen Sunday" doesn't seem quite appropriate, but that is exactly what it is. My whole life when I have time just to myself it feels like it is "stolen" from the everyday hubbub of life. Today is one of those days. There is a family function that is BIG, but my husband has another commitment so we took care of that family obligation last weekend. We had a big day yesterday and I am super tired. So, I have made breakfast, my dh is getting ready for his thing at church and the rest of the day is mine to do with as I please. . .so I have stolen it!!! I have big plans, get caught up on posting pages, watch a car race, upload photos from a soccer game and birthday party (that is done already), and just relax. . .I rarely relax. I feel like I should ALWAYS be doing something, but not today. Yes, I have errands that I could run, but I'll do those tomorrow. As long as I get my "running around" done before Tuesday when we have some rain in the forecast. It has been so long since we have had measurable rain, I am actually looking forward to the rain. . .and I want to be home to enjoy it. I envision myself sitting in the sunroom reading a book with the rain outside. . .that seems so peaceful to me!!!

Fallish Friday
This week has been such a rollercoaster. . .frost and freeze warnings and today it is back up in the 80's. No wonder my head is hurting today!!! I think it is supposed to rain tomorrow. . .just in time for all my weekly errands. Then it is supposed to get cold again. . .who knows what will happen :-)

Tired Thursday
I have to admit I am exhausted today. Probably started Sunday night when I absolutely could NOT go to sleep. Ended up staying up all night and then was so wired that I couldn't take a nap. Last night I still wasn't tired so I took a sleeping aid. . .and THAT did the trick!!! When this happens, my body clock just gets so messed up it is ridiculous!!! Feel like I need a nap. . .and as soon as I get my work done, I have plans of binge watching Empire and just resting. Think my body needs that or I'll be getting sick for the weekend and I do NOT want that!!! Going to go visit our grandson who will be 4 on Friday!!! He is certainly growing up awfully fast!!!

Weekend Wanderings
Well, it is the weekend again. . .have a busy Saturday in store but then Sunday is a slow day for me. . .I really do need a slow day every now and again though!!! So, I am looking forward to relaxing, reading a book, watching a NASCAR race and just enjoying "nothing"!!!
