Spring Rian

Well, it sure is rainy around here!!! And watch, come summer it will be hot a super dry!!! That's what it is like in these parts!!!

Spring!!!

Today is the first day of spring here and it would have also been my Mom's birthday!!! She always said she was a "spring chicken". . .I sure do miss that gal!!!

I have been super busy lately for some reason but have managed to do a little bit of scrapping so here goes. . . Definitely Deceptive!!!

Well since the time change it is definitely deceptive outside!!! Here it is nearly 7 in the evening and the sun is STILL out and it looks so nice and warm. . but, and it is a BIG but, it is dang cold out there!!! Honestly it looks like it could be 70 degrees, but it isn't!!! Tomorrow morning there will be a thick coat of frost on everything. It looks like I should be able to open the windows and enjoy some fresh air, but nope, too cold!!! Since it looks nice outside, I have been doing a little bit of cleaning. . .you know, tackling that junk drawer, organizing things, yada, yada, yada :-) But I have taken some time to do some scrapping so here goes. . .

Seriously. . .

It was in the 60's last week and now we have had snow flurries all day!!! What is up with this weather? And if that isn't bad enough, there was just enough sunshine for a day or so to trick my body clock into thinking it was time to tackle spring cleaning. . .UGH!!! I have been knee-deep in cleaning for a couple of days now!!! You know the kind of cleaning. . .the things you don't do every week as part of your normal cleaning. Today it was a kitchen cabinet that I use to hold my equipment and a book shelf. Yesterday it was a chest of drawers, tomorrow it is the laundry room which is the catch-all for things around here!!! From time to time I take a break and do some scrapping so here goes. . .
