January 2025 - Week 05

Yep, 2025 is starting out with a 5-week January!!! Here while the temperatures have been in the low 50's we still have snow lingering around from a couple of weeks ago. I did have a "freak out" moment earlier this week because when I looked at the forecast for the upcoming week one day showd 1.3 inches of ICE!!! I don't mind snow, I don't mind storms as long as I can stay indoors, but that ice is a whole other set of circumstances!!! Granted since our last ice storm we have installed a whole-house generator I wouldn't have to worry about food spoiling and I could enjoy a cup of coffee whenever I want. . .heck we have been known to watch TV during a power outage!!! Since we installed our generator there have been no less than 7 installed within the 2-block radius so we would not be the only ones enjoying modern conveniences LOL!!! I have managed to do a bit of scrapping but my focus was on wrapping up a Christmas project since I got photos to complete that. . .so here goes. . . My but it is cold here!!! We still have a large amount of snow hanging around and the forecasted high are in the single digits for the majority of this week!!! I'm content to stay indoors and enjoy a hot beverage!!! I've also been quite under the weather so there isn't a whole lot new to report this week so let's jump into it. . . January 2025 - Week 01

Well, 2024 is in the rearview mirror. . .wonder what 2025 holds? Guess we'll have to wait and see, honestly I think it is going to be an interesting year. . .probably disappointing for most of the population but live and learn I say :-) I'm just going to sit back, watch and laugh!!! I was thinking about waiting to buy grocercies until the prices came down as promised, but I don't see that happening so better go buy that toilet paper LOL!!! I've been doing a bit of scrapping while dealing with the holidays and some health issues so here goes. . .
