April 2025 - Week 03

Easter has come and gone. In all honesty, I really messed up this year. There are been so much going on here and time just got away from me. I actually thought it was earlier in April than it was and had it in my mind that Easter was NEXT weekend. . .so I didn't invite the girls to come for a visit. We had a low-key day here and actually spent some time catching up on TV shows that we have put off watching with everything going on. It was a busy weekend for the girls anyway and Sunday was their only day to be home with nothing much to do so I'm sure they were thankful for the time to just decompress. This week will be a stressful week for everyone anyway. My mother-in-law passed away last week and there is just so much to take care of. . .no wonder I am all messed up on dates and holidays, etc. There are a few things I'd like to share this week so here goes. . . April 2025 - Week 02

Tornados last week. . .flood warnings over the weekend. . .freeze warning this week!!! Around these parts don't put out the herb garden until Mother's Day weekend!!! There's a reason for that LOL!!! Life continues to be crazy pants around here but I've managed to get a couple of things done so here goes. . . April 2025 - Week 01

My goodness but we have had so many storms in the past week!!! I havve a friend who lives 30 minutes away that has had to take shelter 4 times the past week because of confirmed tornados!!! I do believe Tornado Alley has shifted!!! Even without the storms it has been a crazy week around here. . .I'm lucky to have anything to share this week. Let's hope things quiet down very soon!!! Anyway, here goes. . .
