January 2026 - Week 01

Well, that was one roller-coaster week!!! In one day we went from a high of mid-70's to a low of 2!!! They are saying that is the biggest one day temperature swing in history. And, with that swing came a destructive tornado!!! We are safe, but homes less than 2 miles from us were destroyed. Thankfully there were no serious injuries. It is frightening to think that storm passed between our house and the dance studio where our girls spent years. . .it is less than 2 miles up the road!!! I also want to wish everyone a Happy New Year!!! Personally I'm hoping that 2026 is better than 2025. . .2025 was a pretty rough year around my house!!! Anyway, with it being the first of a new month I have lots to share so here goes. . . December 2025 - Week 04

Here's hoping everyone had a safe and merry Christmas. . .it was definitely low-key around here. Had some health issues this past week, but now I'm done with doctor appointments until February, but between now and then I start a couple of new medications that have a BUNCH of warnings. . .I'll work on starting that next week. In the meantime, the 18+ inches of snow that we had between Thanksgiving and last week has melted. . .appropo given the temperature was 61-decgrees on Christmas Day!!! Our forecast for Sunday. . .a high of 64-degrees with snow!!! Yep, the temperature is going to drop from a high in the 60's to a low in the 20's in less than 24 hours. That in and of itself worries me. . .that can only mean one thing - storms!!! With all the holiday happenings, I didn't get a chance to do a lot of scrapping so here goes. . . Created using
