It's Hot Bob!!!

One of the local car dealerships has the catchphrase "It's Hot Bob"!!! Yesterday was the first time this summer that I've heard that commercial. . .and it is spot on!!! It is HOT!!! I'm thankful that I can stay in the air conditioning!!! Since I'm staying indoors, I've done a little bit of crafting and a whole lot of planning this week so here goes with my new layouts. . . Mid-July Summer Swelter

While we had several inches of rain over the past week, I think it was so dry that it all ran off into the ditches!!! With as much rain as we had, our sump pump should have been expelling water like crazy but I don't think I heard it discharge once!!! The grass is looking more green so that is a good thing and there is rain moving in for today. Speaking of today, I'm so excited because I get to stay home ALL DAY!!! No appointments hanging over my head. . .made it through a week full of appointments so I am going to savor this day like crazy!!! Post Holiday Week. . .

This week just seems "off". . .I think it is because the 4th of July was on a Monday, but I've been a day late every day this week!!! It feels like Thursday to me instead of Friday!!! Good thing I have a daily calendar AND I have actually remembered to advance it every day this week otherwise I'd be lost. Woke up this morning to storms. . .you know they are close when you get notices that there was a lightning strike "0 miles from your location". . .that is too close for comfort in my opinion!!! Really. . .July Already!!!

I can hardly believe it is July!!! I have NO idea where this year has gone. Before you know it school will be starting. We went to the last of the dance recitals last weekend so summer is in full swing. But, it is so hot and dry here. . .what should be a lush, green yard is full of big cracks and brittle, brown grass. It hasn't been this hot in a LONG time!!! I have done a little bit of scrapping so here goes. . .
