December - Week 04

Well, 2024 is winding down. Thankfully this year wasn't as "eventful" as a couple of the past years has been. Personally I thought that nothing could be worse than 2020, but 2022 was a very close second for me. Then there's 2023, that was one busy, BUSY year!!! So to have 2024 be more low-key was definitely needed but there were definitely highlights!!! Our oldest granddaughter got her driver's license and started looking into colleges. Her brother became a teenager so no more "little kids" for this grandma. Then the middle granddaughter was cast as Clara in the company production of The Nutcracker!!! So there was some excitement!!! Who knows what 2025 holds in store. . .Hopefully I'll get the 2024 Christmas presents (2025 calendars and 2024 scrapbooks) done. I'm running so behind, but my energy level still isn't back to "normal". With the holidays and both girls being busy and away as well as a bout of pneumonia, I've managed to do a little bit of scrapping between those nagging coughs so here goes. . .
