September 2025 - Week 03

Goodness, this month is just flying by. . .still seems like summer here but that might be because the temperature this week hit a new record high for this time of year at 99 degrees!!! Most of the counties around us have a strict burn ban in place and yesterday there were a couple of major field fires. It always scares me because we have a wooded state park that has fallen in disrepair on two sides of our house. We haven't had measurable rain since late July and the situation in the woods must be gettind dire because the deer were out in yards this week in broad daylight. They were so hungry they didn't even run when a huge delivery truck rolled by. . . Since it is so hot, I've been staying indoors which means cleanning and scrapping. Not much to share this week but here goes. . . Created using Told you it was a short week. . .until next time. . .

September 2025 - Week 02

What a week!!! We went to a lakeside piano recital where while it was a beautiful day, I was wishing I had worn an even thicker sweatshirt!!! By the end of the week it is going to be in the 90's again!!! Crazy, crazy weather. . .I did see one pond yesterday that was completely dry. . .it has been so terribly dry this summer and once again I'm worried about a potential fire in the wooded state park across the street. It must be dire in the woods because yesterday in the middle of the day I saw deer in the neighbor's yard. . .they rarely come out in the middle of the day. . .anyway, I have some layouts to share with you so here goes. . . September 2025 - Week 01

This week is starting out in the best way!!! Our daughter and two of the grands are visiting for a few days!!! Where did the time go, our youngest grandchild is a soon to be 14 year old who can devour a Subway footlong and he completed officiating school and is now a paid official for the younger leagues!!! And our oldest grand is taking college visits!!! YIKES. . .does this mean I'm getting OLD??? Anyway we are having some home repairs done and I've been babysitting the house so that means I have plenty of time to scrap so let's get to it. . .
