September 2025 - Week 03

Goodness, this month is just flying by. . .still seems like summer here but that might be because the temperature this week hit a new record high for this time of year at 99 degrees!!! Most of the counties around us have a strict burn ban in place and yesterday there were a couple of major field fires. It always scares me because we have a wooded state park that has fallen in disrepair on two sides of our house. We haven't had measurable rain since late July and the situation in the woods must be gettind dire because the deer were out in yards this week in broad daylight. They were so hungry they didn't even run when a huge delivery truck rolled by. . . Since it is so hot, I've been staying indoors which means cleanning and scrapping. Not much to share this week but here goes. . .
