November 2025 - Week 04
Well, Thanksgiving is over for another year. It was good here because both girls and their families came for a visit. The last time they were both here I was sick and didn't get to enjoy the company, but yesterday was different. Good food and so much fun!!! So here it is Friday. . .the kitchen is clean, there are plenty of leftovers in the fridge to enjoy the next couple of days, my grocery order will be ready to pick up this morning and I'll run in to get less than 10 items (I do not trust curbside pickup with produce or meat LOL). Then I'm coming home and hunkering down since there is a winter storm headed this way. I've watched the weather systems and while the local meterologists downplayed the significance of this system, I had the feeling it was going to be a tad more intense. That has played out overnight and we are now under a winter storm warning. This may be the earliest I remember a warning. . .watches sure, but warnings no. By the time it gets here everyone should be home safe and sound!!! With all the Black Friday madness, I do have a few things to share so here goes. . .
