December 2025 - Week 01

My goodness, here it is the last month of 2025!!! And did we ever start out with a BANG!!! Over this past weekend we had nearly a foot of snow. . .and there is even more in the forecast today!!! YIKES!!! I really need to get in the swing of things after a wonderful Thanksgiving!!! I had high hopes of having Christmas wrapped up (pun intended) by next week, but as of this writing, I have nary a single Christmas list. That means I just might have to go rogue and that usually doesn't turn out as I had hoped LOL!!! Enough on that, I do have some things to share on today so here goes. . . November 2025 - Week 04

Well, Thanksgiving is over for another year. It was good here because both girls and their families came for a visit. The last time they were both here I was sick and didn't get to enjoy the company, but yesterday was different. Good food and so much fun!!! So here it is Friday. . .the kitchen is clean, there are plenty of leftovers in the fridge to enjoy the next couple of days, my grocery order will be ready to pick up this morning and I'll run in to get less than 10 items (I do not trust curbside pickup with produce or meat LOL). Then I'm coming home and hunkering down since there is a winter storm headed this way. I've watched the weather systems and while the local meterologists downplayed the significance of this system, I had the feeling it was going to be a tad more intense. That has played out overnight and we are now under a winter storm warning. This may be the earliest I remember a warning. . .watches sure, but warnings no. By the time it gets here everyone should be home safe and sound!!! With all the Black Friday madness, I do have a few things to share so here goes. . . November 2025 - Week 02

Only in this part of the country can it snow one day and two days later be in the 70's!!! And with that, a slight cold with the sniffles and a sore throat!!! Hard to believe that I actually plan on grilling out tomorrow. . .for crying out loud it is the middle of November!!! Still makes me think there could be one heck of a snow this winter LOL!!! We are back to water rationing so it is still bone dry here. . .There's been a lot going on here this week so I don't have much to share but here goes. . .
