March 2025 - Week 04

It was a turbulant time around here and throughout the midwest over the weekend. All told we had 3 confirmed tornados in the area. The worse damage was to a district school - elementary through high school. That complex took a direct hit. The students were to go back today from spring break but obviously that didn't happen. I think the thing that hit me the hardest when they showed photos from inside the building was the band room. . .band was one of my fondest memories from high school and to see the damage inside that band room still sends shivers down my spine. . .And our weather ran the gambit this weekend from severe storms to snow to haze from dust that blue into the area from the southwestern US. Crazy weather. . .and again, tomorrow we are to have highs in the mid-70s followed by more severe weather and snow. . . Through all of this, we did manage to keep power. . .others were not so fortunate. So, I was able to do a bit of scrapping among everything else going on so here goes. . .
