Rain, Rain, Go Away!!!

WOW, we have had so much rain and there is even more in the forecast!!! From the time this rain event started on Monday though next Tuesday when it is forecasted to end, they anticipate close to 6 inches of rain!!! Yesterday the temperature went from 67 degrees to 25 degrees and with that the rain changed to freezing rain!!! I can't even imagine how much snow this would have been!!! Next week, the temperatures are supposed to be in the mid to upper 50's which just seem too warm for this time of year!!!

Sick Again

Well, the "sickness" is back again. . .this time it is our granddaughter. Poor kiddo has been sick since Sunday. I spent yesterday with her and when I left she was doing pretty good. . .we will see how her night went. I think she could go to school today but we'll see. . .until then, here are the pages I created before this "creepin' crud" came back. . .

Slowing Down. . .Finally

Well, it is finally slowing down a bit. Last week and the first of this week were pretty hectic with a BIG project in the works around here. But that wrapped up on Monday so by Tuesday I was super exhausted. Today I had plans of getting my chores done early and settling in to read a book. The problem - it would be sunny one minute and dark and snowy the next. All of that played havoc with my eyes while I was trying to read and after a couple of hours of that I had a headache. . .still didn't get my book done, but I am making progress :-)
