Well, this week is certainly being a roller-coaster weatherwise!!! It has been so nice for the past few days. . .we even had night time temperatures in the 40's. But, just wait for today and tomorrow. . .we ar going to be almost 90-degrees!!! Then we have some rain coming in and then highs in the 40's!!! It is certainly a roller-coaster!!! I'm sure there are colds in our future with these temperature swings, not to mention all the allergy issues with fall and the nearby harvest. . .but even with all that, this is hands-down my favorite time of year!!!
I've had a little bit of time this week between chores and working on Christmas gifts so here goes. . .

Sweet Fallish Day!!!
I have to admit, I love a day like today. . .the are is cool, a slight breeze, no humidity. . .yep, fall is in the air!!! Even the kitty is enjoying the day. Her cat tower is in front of an opened window and she has been camped out there all day!!! I absolutely LOVE this time of year. . .I really do hate sweating - LOL!!!

September 11
I'm sure you remember what you were doing 19 years ago today. . .it was a day that had an impact on all of our lives. I remember watching and waiting to hear about a co-worker who was scheduled to fly from one of the airports that very morning. Turns out he got on an earlier flight and was in the air when everything started happening. I remember that I had a chicken pasta salad for lunch. . .I remember that because we all sat on the patio outside at work with the radio on trying to get information. Now, fast forward a few years. It was on this very date that I met my granddaughter for the first time. . .and with that, we share a "thing". Her birthday is 9/11 and mine is 12/7 - Pearl Harbor Day. Not a day to share but a reminder that no matter what happens, life and time move forward.

Suddenly September
This is hands down my favorite month of the year!!! Typically we have cooler temperatures and the colors of nature always make me so happy. But, this is 2020 so we will see what it has in store for us. It has been hot here and oh, so very dry. For the entire month of August we have had a quarter of an inch of rain. . .too dry and dusty!!! It is September so we have a few new pages to share so here goes. . .
