Out With The Old. . .

I thought 2022 was going to be a great year, but goodnes, was I ever wrong on that one!!! For me it could well have been the worse year yet!!! Here's hoping that 2023 is way better, but we'll see on that. Still a lot up in the air so I'm on the fence about that one!!! This week I managed to get the calendars done and ordered for our girls, but in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep I decided to do a HUGE pivot on the scrapbooks!!! I had one nearly done but I was trying a new style that I absolutely HATED. I think that made it go slower. So, today I'm scrapping that and starting over from scratch!!! Hopefully it will go much faster. I have told the girls that they will be getting scrapbooks, but it will be more like springtime - LOL!!! That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!!! Anyway with Christmas in the rearview mirror I got a little scrapping done (just not on scrapbooks) so here goes. . . It's Here!!!

Not only is it Christmas weekend, we are in the midst of a mini Polar Vortex!!! It is well below zero with winds through the night that makes the wind chill unbearable!!! That wind was so loud, I don't recall it being that loud for that long. . .sure it is loud during a storm, but this was all night long!!! I'm so glad at this point that I got the Christmas stuff taken care of early!!! I've done some scrapping this week so here goes. . . Countdown to Christmas

The final push for Christmas has started!!! I'm on hold for 1 gift, don't have the scrapbooks or calendars anywhere close to done, but I say if the girls get those things in January that is just going to spread out the holiday cheer!!! That's my story and I'm stickin' to it - LOL!!! The forecast for our area includes a chance of snow late next week and with the temperatures projected to stay low, there might just be a bit of a white Chirstmas!!! In the week ahead we will be delivering gifts to our girls and then hopefully settle in for a quiet Christmas. . .With everything going on, I have managed to do a little bit of scrapping so here goes. . . Rainy Holiday Spirit. . .

I have so much Christmas "stuff" to accomplish this week and you would think that we could have weather that is more Christmas-like, but nope, we have temperatures in the 50's and rain and even thunderstorms in our forecast!!!
