This has been a wonderful week so far. I have a little five year old visiting for a few days and it has been heaven!!! I have learned a LOT from her this week. She likes breakfast, but LOVES lunch. I have no complaints in the eating department. . .and I have M&M's sitting on the cabinet where she could just grab a handful any time she wanted, but she has never even tried!!! By the time dinner rolls around though I think she is done with food. . .but she eats so healthy the rest of the day, I can't complain. She now loves to play by herself. . .so I let her play in the sunroom while I sit by close enough that I can hear what is going on. . .and that typically involves singing!!! Not any song that you have heard before either. . .she is making up songs about the critters in the backyard or what she is playing with at the time. I have to say too that she has a really good voice!!! She stays on pitch and has a nice tone!!! I can foresee show choir in her future!!! She is so much fun!!!
With a visitor, I haven't been scrapping as much. . .I do hope today that I can have an impromptu photo shoot with her, so we will see how that goes!!! But here are the creations for this week so far. .

Frantic Friday
Today is one of those days where I seem to be pulled in about 105 directions. My dh has an event tomorrow and asks for help with that, I have chores to do, groceries to get (that actually didn't get done), yada, yada, yada!!!

Taming Thursday
It is so dark and gloomy outside today. . .but I suppose that is fitting considering I have a lot of really mundane things to do today. I am moving files around on my computer. . .one of the EHD's is close to filling up so it is time to offload things I don't use or need and it is also time to expand one of my backups. Then I would like to get a backup method established on my dh's computer. . .problem is his desk is a wreck and I try to just let him be, but I need a little bit of space for that EHD!!! Then there is laundry, trash, and house cleaning to do. This is also the first day of the NCAA tournament. . .OK, I do realize that the play-in games started earlier this week but for some reason, I don't really count those in the tournament. In my opinion, there are too many teams in the tournament anyway. . .I don't see a need for every single conference to be represented. For the first time in decades, I have not filled out a bracket. . .my heart just isn't into it. And, traditionally I have taken the afternoon off to watch basketball. . .I will do that if and only if I get all of my work done this morning. . .our team didn't make the big dance this year and fell horribly flat in the NIT tournament. . .there is some kind of negative team dynamics going on there but the coach has such a tight rein on the team that we will never know what is going on.

Sunny Sunday
Yes, it is indeed a sunny Sunday!!! And, for the first time this year, I am cooking outside!!! Tomorrow, the temperatures are going to be in the 70's here so the windows are going to be opened all day long!!! I am entirely TOO excited about that. It has been super gloomy around for too long. . .dense fog every morning that never seems to burn off so the entire day is grey. This gives me hope that spring will some day spring!!! LOLOL!!!
