Yesterday was an interesting day. . .there was a major power outage at the busy intersection up the street that closed a lot of stores and restaurants. I managed to get all of my chores done AND got tickets for a concert in November. Then late yesterday afternoon, my dh and I were in the sunroom working on a puzzle when I looked out in the backyard. There were 3 deer out there. . .and the 3 became 8 after a few minutes. Now, we have had deer in the yard before and at one point we had 14 one day, but they haven't been around for a while. There were 5 does and 2 "babies". . .now these babies didn't have spots, but they were about half the size of the other deer. AND, for the first time in a very long time, there was a young buck in the herd. They stayed in the yard until the neighbor down the street let their dog out and the deer took off in a flash!!!
I am going to try to get all of my challenge work done today!!! I kind of like doing scrapping challenges and I rarely share them since they are "just for fun", but I thought I'd give you a glimpse today of my "for fun" work, so here goes. . .
